Been working on this one for ages. Went through so many stages; thought it was finished, painted over as looking too dull, went back to tonal painting, purchased glaze medium, built it back up to how it looks now.

Why did it take me 10 years to discover acrylic mediums? Have Rheni Tauchid to thank for using them, as suggested in her two books The New Acrylics and New Acrylics Essential Sourcebook, both of which I would recommend if you view acrylics as a faster-drying oils substitute (as I did.)
Anyway, cannot get this piece in focus, so this photo is going up for now.
